Submission
Submission of Abstracts for Congress Presentation
Authors are first invited to submit an abstract to participate as speakers at CSECity’25. All accepted abstracts will be presented during the congress. On the event day, the authors of accepted abstracts will have 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions.
The abstract must be submitted in PDF format and must include authors’ names, affiliations, and email addresses.
After the event, selected authors will be invited to submit their full papers for peer review, with the possibility of publication either in the IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (EES) proceedings or in a special issue of the journal CienciAmérica, according to their preference and the submission process they follow.

Submission of Articles for the IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (EES) Proceedings
The completed R&D works, which must address one of the conference topics, must have a length of 10 to 15 pages.
Authors must prepare their papers according to the official IOP guidelines and templates:
Essential requirements
- Papers must be submitted in PDF format.
- Authors should also provide the final version in Word or LaTeX (together with the PDF and the consent-to-publish form) in a single ZIP file, uploaded to the conference management system.
- The evaluation version submitted for peer review must not include authors’ names, affiliations, and emails (double-blind review).
- The final version, after acceptance, must include full authors’ information, institutional email addresses (personal addresses may be added), and preferably ORCID iD numbers.
- Papers must be written in English, comply with the formatting guidelines, must not have been published previously, and not be under review elsewhere.
- All submissions will undergo double-blind review by at least two members of the scientific committee. The committee reserves the right to accept or reject manuscripts.
Submission of articles for CienciAmérica
As an alternative, authors may submit their completed R&D works for consideration in a special issue of the journal CienciAmérica.
Requirements:
- Papers must align with one of the conference topics.
- Maximum length: 10 pages.
- Submission format: Word template (provided) and PDF.
- The evaluation version for review must exclude authors’ names, affiliations, and email addresses.
- The final accepted version must include full authors’ information and be accompanied by the consent-to-publish form.
- All files (Word + PDF + consent form) should be submitted in a single ZIP file.
